Chapter 23 Civic Signs Development Code Amendment

CLOSED: This item was given a positive recommendation by the Planning Commission and will be scheduled for City Council on July 12, 2022.

The proposed amendment clarifies that civic institutional signs for entities such as schools or churches do not go to Planning Commission solely for being a civic institutional sign. However, they are still required to go to Planning Commission as a conditional use if they are pylon signs, marquees, or have more than 50 square feet of electronic display.
