The General Plan was approved. You can view the updated General Plan Land Use Element at https://www.lehi-ut.gov/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/General-Plan-Final-Document-2022.pdf

City Council tabled this item directing staff to look at the impact ADUs might have on the City. This will be discussed at the December work session meeting. The General Plan will go back to the City Council to vote after the new year.

Thank you for everyone who has already provided feedback. All feedback on the map was provided to Staff and included in the DRC comments given to the Planning Commission.

The General Plan directs future zoning and ultimately what gets built. You can learn more information about the General Plan and the process we have gone through at our previous website https://lehifuturelanduse.com/.

It can be hard to understand exactly what is happening and what everything means. Please feel free to reach out to one of the planners, we would be happy to discuss it with you.

This item received a positive recommendation from the Planning Commission and will go to City Council on October 12th for final consideration.

With the growth along 2100 N between I15 and Redwood road, I am concerned that traffic congestion will become worse. With the new primary hospital being built at Holbrook Farms, it will be difficult for EMS vehicles to get to and from the hospital due to the congestion. Also, with the new fire station being built in this area, it will be difficult for fire trucks to negotiate the heavily traffic area. Is Lehi working with UDOT to do the final build out of 2100 N as designed as the Mountain View Corridor, and expediating it? I realize build out to the final mountain view corridor stage of 2100 N requires funding, is Lehi working not only UDOT, but state Representatives to accelerate funding for this?

I believe the extension of 3600 W north and over the Jordan River may be a good idea. It can provide a good east-west connection in Lehi. But as more traffic goes this way, and enters the 2100 N area to the south, what is the city doing to minimize traffic congestion on the south area at 3600 W and 2100 N?

I am concerned about the Holbrook Farms area not having a grocery store.
Eventual build out is 3,000 units. In addition, with the other developments immediately south of 2100 N, I believe the commercially zone area needs to be reserved for a Grocery store. If not, all tax revenue will go to Saratoga Springs because of the Smiths and Costco built in Saratoga springs.
