Planning Commission approved this conversion. 

The applicant is requesting approval of a conditional use permit to allow for an electronic messaging display (EMD) sign conversion for an existing billboard located at 255 East State Street. The billboard is located within the Off-Premises Electronic Display Sign Overlay Zone and qualifies to be converted to EMD. The proposed EMD sign will match the existing size of 14 feet in height and 48 feet in width. The location, height, and area of the sign will not be changed at all. The existing billboard structure will be modified to have the new base. This base will be installed over the existing billboard pole.

The applicant provided four base design options for consideration.
