The applicant is requesting approval of a conditional use permit for to allow for the conversion of an existing structure to a detached accessory dwelling unit on their property located at 1321 North 2020 West. The Development Code was amended on July 27, 2021, to allow for this use with specific regulations listed in Section 26.040 Detached Accessory Dwelling Units.

The subject property is over 22,000 square feet and the narrative states that the dwelling portion is 770 square feet which meets the 300 square foot requirement. The dwelling portion is setback 75 feet from the property line and the Code no longer requires a garage.
