Consultation has ended. This item passed with a positive recommendation and will be scheduled for City Council on May 14th, 2024.

DR Horton is seeking approval for the next phase of Skye. This includes 61 single family homes and 271 townhomes. They also are requesting an exception to the maximum block length for pedestrians and the trail connectivity requirement. These are both based on the significant grade that exists up there.

This is an administrative item which means the Planning Commission must give a positive recommendation if it meets the Code requirements. They do have an opportunity to say if the exception should be allowed or not but it must be based on logical reasons. Anyone can speak on this item but should realize that it either needs to be a code requirement or it is a recommendation to DR Horton that they can choose to include or not.
