This item received a positive recommendation by the Planning Commission and will go to City Council on Tuesday August 23rd

DR Horton is proposing different General Plan Land Use designations for the 1,035.49 acres proposed to come from Draper into Lehi. You can learn more about the municipal boundary line adjustment here.

The proposal includes the following areas:

  • Environmentally Sensitive Areas. These allow 1 unit per 5 acres. And this makes up the largest proposed land designation
  • Low Density Residential: Allows a maximum of 4 units per acre. This is the second largest proposed designation.
  • Medium Density Residential. Allows up to 6 units per acre.
  • High Density Residential. Allows up to 12 units per acre.

If these General Plan Land Use designations are approved, the applicant will still need to file a zone change application before developing the area.
