The applicant is requesting approval for an automobile service and repair conditional use located at 1550 N State Street Unit B. The proposed conditional use is for an automotive engine machining and rebuilding service. The applicant’s narrative states that the engines have already been removed from the vehicles and they do not work on automobiles at the location. However, this use is still best designated as automobile service and repair in Chapter 5 and Chapter 39 of the Lehi City Development Code. This use is classified as being conditional in the Mixed-Use zone as noted in the table of uses chart.
