The Planning Commission provided a positive recommendation to the City Council on this item.

The applicant is seeking review and recommendation of a proposed zone change from TH-5 (transitional holding) to R-3 (high density residential) on 5-acres of property located at approximately 1850 North 3600 West. This zone change is consistent with the approved General Plan designation of HDR (high density residential) for the majority of the property and will allow for the development of the property in a way that is consistent with the General Plan. The General Plan does show Commercial on a portion of the property; however, the applicant wishes to rezone the entire property as R-3.
