The applicant was made aware they need a conditional use permit for the business they have been operating at 2322 West Main Street. The conditional use application is for a automobile repair service business.
The applicant submitted a site plan that shows the repairs taking place inside of an existing building. They also have a fenced off area where trailers that are held for a long period of time can be stored.
As a conditional use, the Planning Commission has to approve the use. They can just put conditions like landscaping, hours of operation, lighting, etc. on the approval. If you are aware of potential negative impacts on the neighbors in the surrounding area, please let the Planning Commission know. It is especially helpful if you have recommendations on how these impacts could be prevented by conditions.
