The applicant wants to build a new building for furniture sales located at 3275 North Outlet Parkway to the east of the Strap Tank.
The concept plan shows the building oriented towards Cabela's boulevard. And the applicant provided conceptual renderings below.
The applicant is asking for a reduction in the required parking. For parking it falls under the retail sales use which requires 45 parking stalls. The applicant proposes to provide 36. The applicant submitted a parking study that indicated they only need 13 parking stalls. The Planning Commission has the power to approve reductions in parking. City Staff is recommending if they approve the reduction in parking that they require an agreement stating more parking will be provided if it changes uses.
