JP&R Construction wants to change the general plan on 2.99 acres located at approximately 7700 North 8730 West. It is named the North Lake Commercial Park General Plan Amendment. They want to change the land use from Commercial (C) to Heavy Commercial (C-H). Heavy Commercial allows more industrial type uses. You can view the allowed uses in both of these under documents.

The owners have expressed their intent to create a warehouse/office flex-type space which best fits into Heavy Commercial designation.

The planning commission has a high level of discretion in whether they approve General Plan Amendments or not. Comments should consider the impacts on the current and future residents, neighborhood and area. You can leave a comment or ask a question below.
