The Planning Commission provided a positive recommendation to the City Council on this item.

DR Horton wants to annex 111.5 acres currently in the county into Lehi City to be included in the Micron Area Plan. The Lehi City Council already approved a resolution of intent to annex. The purpose of the public hearing at the Planning Commission meeting is to review the proposed zoning.

They are requesting TH-5 zoning. TH-5 is a transitional holding zone that does not require water dedication but also does not allow any development until rezoned and water is dedicated. The applicant intends to rezone this property as part of their area plan amendment.
