The Planning Commission provided a positive recommendation to City Council. 

The applicant is seeking review and recommendation of a proposed zone change from R-2 to R-3 for 0.42 acres located at 396 North 500 West. The zone change is consistent with the recently amended General Plan designation of HDR for the property. The applicant is seeking a zone change as it will allow the property to be developed with a townhome project that is located near the Historic Downtown District and more walkable to nearby community services.

The zone change would result in a maximum total of five lots because the allowed density for R-3 is 12 units per acre.
