The applicant is seeking review and recommendation of a proposed zone change from R-2 to MU (mixed use) for 0.54 acres located at 1190 North 500 West. This zone change is consistent with the recently approved General Plan designation of MU for the property. The applicant is seeking a zone change as it will allow the property to function as a retail space for an antique and home décor store which is an allowed use in the Mixed-Use designation. The proposed change is compatible with the existing residential and commercial uses within close proximity.
