So many wonderful things planned here! I love the multiple uses: soccer, pickleball, skating, sledding, playgrounds, open space, etc! I would love a nice large water play area. I just visited Adventure Heights in Spanish Fork. They did a wonderful job with multiple players grounds and multiple water spots. It is definitely a great addition to their community. One thing I noticed there that was nice (and I’ve seen it at other parks) is multiple bathrooms that are family bathrooms, instead of just one men’s and one women’s. It feels so much safer to send your child into a one person bathroom. I am also curious about the decrease in soccer fields. It seems like there are about 10 soccer fields there now. Soccer fields are in high demand in our area, so it seems sad to decrease what is there.

Will the soccer fields be various sizes? Would be awesome to have some smaller ones. Sometimes small groups get together and move the goals closer if it’s only a full size field.
Also would be incredible to have a hard surface court for futsal like they have at Geneva Park in Orem. Soccer is extremely popular around here (I coach a few teams and if I had time would coach more) and something like this would be extremely popular, I am sure.

Any plan for restrooms?

I would like to see a off-leash dog park here also!

I’m not seeing any restroom facilities here. Maybe it’s an oversight on my part or they just aren’t labeled but if there are no plans for restrooms, that is a major concern of mine as a parent of young children. I would also love to see some sort of splash pad. Love the ice rink!

This a great use of this space, allowing for use by residents in varying phases of life. The only thing I think is missing is some kind of water feature that kids could play in in the summer. It is hot in the summer and playgrounds don’t get used the same without an option of cooling off. We often head to Wardle Fields in Bluffdale for that very reason. We would much rather use facilities closer to home.

I would love to see a splash pad for the kids to play in.

I love so many things about this park! The trails, amphitheater, sledding hill… However, I’m very disappointed to see there isn’t a splash pad or some other water feature. That is definitely a necessity.

Overall it looks like a great plan! I like the mix of active and passive open spaces so that it can provide recreational opportunities for residents in the surrounding neighborhoods as well as some opportunity for regional sporting events. I personally would love to see the ice rink in downtown Lehi so that it can be in the heart of the community and help reinforce that as a central community gathering location. An ice rink or track downtown can also help to support local businesses and restaurants and contribute to a more vibrant and livable city center. This plan needs to show complete north-south trail connectivity as shown on the Bike/Ped master plan. A 10' trail is planned along the west side of 600 E through this park and all the way up to 3200 N. An enhanced pedestrian crossing should be included to aid people to get from the east side of the park to the west across 600 East - recommend pedestrian refuge islands so that it breaks up one larger crossing into two smaller ones so that is more manageable and safe for people as well as being plow friendly with plowable end sections. Recommend that any trail sections in the park connect to the 600 E trail network or loop back to another trail section to eliminate any dead-end trail sections that stop at a sidewalk.

I love it. It'd be fun to play outdoor hockey in Lehi. Also love the pickleball courts. Great use of space.

I love the concept. The amphitheater is especially needed in Lehi. The winter recreation items are also a really unique idea. My only suggestion would be a water feature kids could play in of some kind, and revisiting the name, Family Park is a bit bland.
