City Staff proposed changes to Chapter 15 to include clarifying language about the approval process for Mixed-Use and TOD developments including land use plans and a pubic hearing at Planning Commission meetings.

Development Code Amendments are legislative items that give both the Planning Commission and City Council a high level of discretion. Meaning the public can suggest an changes they would like to see and the Planning Commission and City Council can choose to include those changes into their motion.

The Development Code is what shapes future development and the process they must go through. This is the most important stage of the process for residents to be involved.
