The applicant requests review and recommendation of the 100 North Street vacation on a portion of 100 North between Center Street and 100 East. This request is being made in conjunction with the new City Hall project.

The vacation of the public street is to allow implementation of the City Campus Master Plan that was adopted in 2020. The street area being vacated is needed to create a public plaza in front of the new City Hall. The City owns all the properties on both sides of the section of the road to be vacated, so it does not directly affect any private properties in the area.
