What is walkability, and why is it important?

    More than just the ability to walk somewhere, walkability refers to the safety, ease, and overall experience of doing so. Studies have shown the numerous benefits of walkable areas- improved fitness and public health, economic growth, consumer savings, and much more. While the City of Lehi may not be an urban metropolis, we can still see some of these benefits of walkability if applied correctly. We want to hear your feedback on the topic of walkability, how and where you think it should be applied within the city.
