The Planning Commission provided a positive recommendation on this item, it will go to City Council on December 12th.

Texas Instruments requests a zone change in connection to their Area Plan Amendment. The zone change will take 25.69 acres out of the Technical Manufacturing Zone into Planned Community with a Technical Manufacturing Buffer land use designation. The change will also change another 25.69 acres from Planned Community to Technical Manufacturing.

In summary, it is a land swap for the future expansion of the Texas Instruments Facility.
