Consultation has ended. This item passed with a positive recommendation and will be scheduled for City Council on May 14th, 2024.

Lehi City is requesting a Development Code Amendment to Chapter 23, clarifying regulations on temporary signs. Specifically, to raise the allowed size for exempt temporary signs and clarify regulations on permitting temporary signs from 2 square feet to 4 square feet. Additional changed would clarify inconsistencies between the current sign permit application and the Chapter 23 code.

Development Code Amendments are legislative items that give both the Planning Commission and City Council a high level of discretion. Meaning the public can suggest any changes they would like to see and the Planning Commission and City Council can choose to include those changes into their motion.

The Development Code is what shapes future development and the process they must go through. This is the most important stage of the process for residents to be involved.
