This item received a positive recommendation from the Planning Commission and will go to City Council on October 10, 2023.

The applicant is seeking review and recommendation of a proposed zone change from PF (Public Facility) to RA-1 (Residential/Agriculture) on 4.07 acres of property located at approximately 260 East 2700 North. The zone change request is consistent with the General Plan designation of VLDR (Very Low Density Residential).

Alpine School District has sold what was previously used as a practice field to the applicant. The rezoning will allow the applicant to build single-family homes on lots over 15,000 square feet in size. This matches the existing residential area, and they are requesting the same zoning as the surrounding neighborhoods.
