My backyard overlooks this area. I love watching the cows during the warmer months from the farmland nearby. Make sure the park won't have any adverse affects on the farm!

I love the idea of a pump track, larger grassy area for sports, a zip line, river like splash pad (like brooke side park in south Jordan.) big playground area, dog park.

Skate park as well would be great, especially with the overcrowding at the Lehi one. Love the idea of different ramps and obstacles there as well to make it more fun!

We would LOVE to see a pump track at the park! We love the ones in Herriman and every time we go there my kids say they wish they had one close to us! A downhill track would also be so fun too! We have a lot of people that love to bike in the community and this would be a fun activity for all ages! I also think a dog park would be awesome! So many people ask if there’s one in Lehi and we definitely need one! Would love it in Traverse Mountain! A splash pad would be so fun for the kids on those hot days! Pavilions and lots of shade trees with grass would be great for the parents to hang out under while the kids are off having fun!

The pump track is a great idea but with how busy the current Lehi skatepark is ALL THE TIME, it would be great to have more inclusive skatepark features at this park. Bowls, rails, stairs, 1/4 pipes. Half pipes. Lights and shade are also a must, Can’t wait for another great park close to home. Thank you!!!

Pump track is a very cool idea. Additional skatepark features are so needed. The skatepark on 2100 is always busy, another park would help relieve the congestion.

Love the pump track and down hill for bikes. Would love to see a section for a dog park and a water feature. Also, more trees for shade and climate, and possible wind break.

A decent sized splash pad would be an amazing addition! The ivory ridge one is so small. Also more picnic tables. There are never enough places to sit and enjoy and spreading them throughout the park would be better so one group doesn't monopolize the pavilion. And swings would be wonderful! there are so few in the area! The only park that really has them there only a couple.

A disc golf course in the undeveloped and developed area would be a fun addition for this park.

I love all of the bike aspects of this park! I think it will be well used and loved. I think the pump track could be bigger or there could be two of them. I like the playground, so younger siblings who can't ride, still have something to do. All the trails around the area are wonderful too! I think more shade, in the form of trees over the bike areas would be beneficial. I'm so excited for this to move forward! It looks like a blast for kids and adults!

why not finish the Peck Park before starting another project that will set partially done for years like PECKS?

I would love to see a skatepark with a pump track, half pipes and more bowls. There are not many parks in the state with actual half pipes. Ideally if you can have beginner, intermediate and advanced options, that helps separate the crowd into manageable amounts of skaters. So a beginner, intermediate and advanced size bowls and halfpipes would help the congestion. Having different levels of bowls and half pipes is also a safety issue. It allows skaters to progress at their own level of comfort and not force them into something they shouldn’t be skating. An accurate deck space around bowls is critical. We like to jump, air and fly out of that stuff and it really screws with flow to run into grass or wood chips. Not to mention we’ll do it anyway and screw up your pretty landscaping so keep the decks generous. A pump track with a street section is a cool thing for skaters to explore and figure out a flow. I love it when a skatepark has obstacles that are actual “street” obstacles as well. I know that greenery helps the look and aesthetics, but that’s more cost to upkeep and skaters don’t really care about that. What I care about are many garbage cans that are emptied on a regular basis. Kids will only put their trash in a bin if there is one right by them. It’s a regular thing for me to have to pick up trash upon getting to the park. I’m a skater mom who comes to the park to skate, and have a break from picking up after kids 😁

I love grass, however with growing drought I think it would be advisable to reduce the size of the grass field and add either a larger skate park that could also include a pump track of sorts for scooters and bikes - not solely dedicated to skateboarding. Can we no longer do good swing sets?? I feel like this is a lost art. Larger swings are loved by everyone but almost never included in parks anymore. Also calisthenics bars are really popular for doing workouts. Can we add actual good trees like London Plane Trees or Bloodgoods the tree selection in Traverse Mountain is lacking Plane trees grow large, are drought tolerant and decease resistant. Please no splash pads we have a pool in the community.
- Large Swings - Larger skate park, pump track/scooter track - Larger shade trees - Calisthenics bars
Please and thank you!

Looks like a great park concept. Love the pump track, we need one in the city. From what I've heard most of those seem to be in Salt Lake County. The downhill bike course looks like a nice idea too. -I'd like to see timed lights on areas like the pump track and pickle ball courts so they can be used in the early spring and fall at least, if not through the winter as well. -It definitely needs lots of trees, etc. for alleviating wind effect, but they should be easily maintainable. -I'm not opposed to grass, but large grassy spots seem to be dominated by sports teams running practices or games these days. -It would be great if the playground could have a serious feature (e.g. closer to the size of Neptune Park's pyramid in Saratoga Springs), not just a couple of lame ramps or small playset. -A broad walking/exercise path around part of the park would be useful if the terrain allows for it. -I don't know what the local interest is, but maybe there could be some areas around the edges of the grass with a couple of frisbee golf baskets, kind of like how parks used to all have horseshoe pits. -I'd love to see additional skate spots or fenced pet parks in the city, even if not feasible at this park.

Lehi desperately needs more ball fields - softball/baseball, soccer etc. The best ball fields have a park centralized for siblings to play where parents can multitask and keep an eye on everyone. We also love the shade structures and trees. Adequate parking is a must. With the trail next to this park we need enough parking for both park and trail users. Lastly, a dog park would be amazing! I saw someone mentioned Mitchell Hollow, we love that park! It caters to a lot of needs and has a lot of shade trees. It’s a great park to model.

The Lehi skatepark off of 2100 has been an amazing success story. It is by far the most utilized park facility, year round in Lehi. It's jam-packed with riders, young and old. You really can't say that other park facilities get the same use as the skatepark. It's known nationwide as one of the best skateparks in the state. Because of that amount of use, as well as the massive population boom, it has created a bit of a rider per surface area problem. It's become very crowded for it's size. There are many cities outside of Utah beginning to implement a strategy of creating Regional skateparks / Neighborhood skateparks and Skate Spots. It would be massively beneficial and an excellent use of tax dollars to build an additional neighborhood skatepark (11,000+ sqft) or at least what is termed as a "skate spot" (8,000 sqft). A pump track is great, but it is not a skatepark. Let's do both! An additional skatepark would alleviate congestion and wear on the current skatepark and provide an area where those on the east side of I-15 that enjoy riding (skate, BMX, scootering, rollerblading) could have another place to go to spread out the usage, add additional surface area and obstacles to practice on that keeps riders off of public property and closer to local neighborhoods. My family and I love pickle ball, but more "tournament" pickle ball courts isn't the answer when the park is located in such a windy area. 4 courts is plenty. A well built and designed skatepark is an excellent use of tax dollars, low long term maintenance and excellent for water conservation. Let's have the next skateboarding Olympian come out of Lehi! Let's create a safe place on the east side of town for our youth to ride, exercise, build confidence and get outside and off of video games! Let's build another amazing skatepark in Lehi at Shadow Ridge Park!

- The grass space is probably the least favorite, seems we already have areas like that in nearby parks. Double Pickelball, Splash Pad, Dog Park would seem like a more ideal fit there. - Walking trail around permitter is big win. - Potentially a baseball field? Something like Mitchell Hollow Park in Highland? - Definitely needs to be lighted throughout. Even if plan stays with grass, having it and courts lite would make it excellent. - Incorporating the mtn biking trails / pump course is awesome. - Needs trees and shade, that area gets pummeled with wind.
