FAQs
Why can't Lehi stop the growth?
Growth is a complicated issue. Property owners have a constitutional right to develop their property within the constraints given by the legislative body (e.g. zoning and nuisance laws). The legislative body needs to weigh those rights with the protections of adjacent property owners. If developed within the proper zoning regulations and without causing harm to its neighbors, a property owner can move forward.
The other main issue is that much of the traffic coming through Lehi is from our neighboring cities. We cannot control the development and growth of those communities.
