The Planning Commission provided a positive recommendation to the City Council. This will go to City Council on November 15th.

The applicant wants to change the zoning on this property located at approximately 1730 N Boston Street from TH-5 (transitional holding) to Light Industrial. The developer has discussed building a construction tool rental office on the property, which is an allowed use under the Light Industrial zone. This matches the General Plan designation approved earlier this year.

This item will likely be approved as it matches the General Plan Land Use designation. For the change to be denied there would need to be reasonable evidence provided by the public that the change would have a negative impact on the health, safety, or general welfare of the businesses or residents around it.
