This item was approved by the Planning commission without the building footprint exception.

The applicant is requesting review of the Exchange Business Park Concept Plan, and is requesting exceptions to the Development Code. There will be eight proposed buildings ranging in size from 2,400 square feet to 6,000. One of the exceptions the applicant is asking for is the building square footage size limit of 5,000 square feet, as restricted by the Neighborhood Commercial zone. Staff is supportive of increasing the square footage if the buildings look appealing and the uses are neighborhood oriented.

The Planning Commission does have some discretion in approving the exceptions or not. Please leave a question or comment below.

I would to see this space filled with trees and native plants for beauty as well as privacy for the neighborhood. It would be smart to consolidate the buildings so we could have less buildings and parking and more open space.
