The Planning Commission provided a positive recommendation on this item, it will go to City Council on December 12th.

The applicant is seeking review and recommendation of a proposed zone change from Transitional Holding (TH-5) to Neighborhood Commercial on 1.18 acres of property located at 116 South 600 East. This property is shown as NC on the General Plan, so the zone change request is consistent with the General Plan.

The applicant’s narrative states that the parcel is ideal for neighborhood commercial because it has mixed use and commercial uses on most of the surrounding parcels.

The concurrently submitted concept shows that the property would be used for an indoor pickleball facility, a small office space, and required parking.
