The Barrons want to change the zoning on their lot at 25 East 2200 North. The current zoning is A-1 (1 acre lot), and they want to rezone to R-1-15 (15,000 square foot lots or about a third an acre). The General Plan designates this area for 15,000 square foot lots.

Because the proposed zoning matches the General Plan, it will likely be approved. The Planning Commission would need specific reasons to not approve it.

The applicant will have to dedicate water as part of changing the zoning. This helps the City make sure we have enough water for all of the development.
